Founded in December 2012, Nihao Institute has become a leading Chinese language and cultural education center in the UAE, with branches in Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Dubai International City. Our mission is to support students of all backgrounds in learning Mandarin and other languages, deepening their cultural understanding, and becoming global citizens.

Our goal is to establish partnerships with additional international schools, positioning Nihao Institute as a bridge to cultural awareness and linguistic fluency for UAE students.
Achievements
In 2016, Nihao Institute was awarded the Model School of Chinese Education by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office for its commitment to language and cultural education.
By 2019, Nihao Institute was offering nearly 50 Chinese language classes and had become the top choice for overseas Chinese children in the UAE, with nearly 200 students. This accomplishment has solidified Nihao Institute’s position as a key bridge to Chinese culture for international learners.
Under the guidance of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the UAE, Nihao Institute’s annual recitation competition is recognized as the "Gold Medal Project," highlighting our dedication to practical language skills and cultural engagement.
Through a variety of cultural events, Nihao Institute fulfills its mission as a model school, fostering cultural understanding across the UAE community.
Nihao Institute maintains partnerships with Chinese-funded enterprises abroad, supporting educational and cultural needs and strengthening ties within the global Chinese community.
2023-2024 Activities
February 24, 2024: Chinese New Year Celebration in collaboration with ICBC Dubai at Brighton College Dubai with the theme “Lanterns Aglow, Gather in Joy.”
HUST Collaboration: A visit by Huazhong University of Science and Technology to Dubai, offering scholarships to non-native Chinese and foreign students.
May4, 2024: Annual Speech Competition at Dubai Heights Academy, featuring participation from 60-80 students.
100 Days Reading Competition: Concluding on May 4, 2024, with 45 students awarded prizes, including bicycles.
Chinese Cultural Camp 2024: Part This immersive camp offers 210 native and non-native students a rich cultural experience with 12 teachers from Guangdong University
Chinese Cultural Camp 2024: October 12-20, 2024, at Brighton College Dubai (Opening Ceremony) and Dwight School Dubai (Closing Ceremony). Sponsored by DDU Express, Esteem Medical Clinic, and Sara Real Estate, this immersive camp offers 76 native and non-native students a rich cultural experience with 12 teachers from Guangdong University.
